We read in the Holy Writings of a Resurrection Day
When all the dead will rise again through God's mysterious way.
Some persons seem to doubt it. They scoff at such a fear.
But the pattern is right before us, and it happens once each year.
We hopefully plant our gardens with seeds, dry, withered and dead.
But when the time is right those seeds come forth, a living thing instead
Oh course, we have our thistles, our nettle and our brier --
We let them grow 'til harvest time, then burn them in the fire.
God is using this same pattern; he is planting dry withered seed.
He began with Father Adam and planted every nation and creed.
Each crop comes on as ages pass, be it wheat or thistle or brier.
The good will reap a heavenly home, the rest will reap the fire.
Each seed must make his personal choice, be it wheat or thistle or brier.
To be stored in the graineries of heaven or burned in the everlasting fire.
