SUMMER STORM

The wind blew, the limbs flew

And the sky turned black as night.

The lightening flashed, the thunder crashed

And gave me such a fright.

Then the sun came out and thereís no doubt

It will be too hot to bear

But Iím not stressed for Iím very blessed

And thanking God we still have air.

Now all is well and Iím here to tell

How the storm spread across our town.

After all the strife, thereís no loss of life

So, I think Iíll go lie down.
